Our friends up in the North, Apple Tree Morris, are hosting a Day of Dance for teams from the area. We'll be there, with bells on!

Some of us will be off to Ann Arbor, this year's home of the MidWest Morris Ale.

We will join our friends, local team Seabright Morris who will host many other teams (also friends!) for another fantastic day of dance.

Black and White Tour

noon - 4:00 Join morris dancers from teams around the Bay Area as they shed their typical team kit for simple (though certainly not boring!...) Black and White and perform a variety of dances. All performances in Golden Gate Park, in front of the Conservatory of Flowers.

Tea breaks in between sets and a pub stop afterwards!

Summer Solstice
7:00pm-8:30pm Tonight we'll be marking the longest day of the year by dancing at sunset near the Land's End at Ocean Beach. We're at the overlook at Sutro Heights Park, overlooking the Cliff House. And we'll be joined by some of our friends from Goat Hill Morris!

We are pleased to once again be part of the Solano Stroll, the signature street fair of Albany and North Berkeley.
We'll be performing near the intersection of Solano and Carmel, near Zand's Persian Food Market.

Again this year we're returning to Ashland to reprise our memorable performance at the Green Show during the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Michael Siemon Memorial
Friend to Morris dancers everywhere, Michael Siemon passed away this year, and Berkeley Morris will be doing their small part to honor his memory at the memorial.

May Day!
Inspiration Point, Tilden Park, Berkeley CA
Following a tradition that is as old as time itself, or at least as old as Bob's memory, which is close enough as not to matter, we will begin our regular season by dancing the sun up at Inspiration Point, Tilden Regional Park, Berkeley. We gather at Inspiration Point at 5am and begin dancing around 5:30. Sunrise happens at 6:13am, and we will dance until around 6:30. Dress warmly!

If you can't join us for sunrise, please do catch up with us as we dance throughout the day.

  • 2:30-ish and we close out the day dancing at Codornices park.

Ardenwood Farms
A working period farm showcasing life in the area from a hundred years ago, what better place to take our even more ancient (yet always new) ritual dance form? Multiple teams are dancing at Ardenwood today and Berkeley Morris will be there! Along with Goat Hill Morris, Deer Creek Morris, and even Kitchen Sink Molly.
